Ingredients For oatmeal cranberry-orange white chocolate cookies

  • 2/3 c
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 2/3 c
    dark brown sugar
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    orange extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    old fashioned oats
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    6 oz. package of craisins, dried
  • 2/3 c
    white chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1/4 c
    slivered almonds, toasted

How To Make oatmeal cranberry-orange white chocolate cookies

    Beat Butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat until mixture is creamy. Add extracts and beat again.

    In another med. bowl sift together with a whisk, the flour, oatmeal, salt and baking soda.

    Add flour mixture to the wet ingredients slowly until all is incorporated. Then add the craisins, white chocolate chips and almonds. Mix through well. Preheat oven to 375º Drop dough by rounded teaspoons or a small cookie scoop. Mine is a tablespoon scoop. Bake for 10 minutes and remove.

    Can melt white chocolate chips and drizzle over cookies for a festive look. Or add red food coloring or green food coloring to melted chocolate.
