Everyone remember the HO Oats Cookies which they do not make anymore(HO oats) so I tried regular oats they are larger I just pulse quickly in a food processor tastes the same, the best touch is the chocolate chips scattered around the top of them which I had done for years they are sooooo good..which is done before baking..

Ingredients For oatmeal cookies

3 1/4 cups oatmeal

3/4 cup of softened butter

3/4 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make oatmeal cookies

1hand blend and I mean by nice clean hands till all comes together roll into 1 inch balls place on cookie sheet ungreased about 1 inch apart flatten with fork I work with one hand the fork the other kinda keeping the round shape together then when all done I place chocolate chips around the cookies and put in 350 degree oven till golden brown about 15-20 minutes cool and enjoy..
