Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat together brown sugar and margarine (or butter if your using butter), until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in apples and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonsfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 -12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet: remove to wire cooling rack.
Combine powdered sugar and milk. drizzle over cooled cookies. Store in tightly covered container.
