crisco (i prefer the butter flavor crisco sticks)
1 1/4 c
cake flour, sifted
double-acting baking powder
3Bake in moderate oven, 375 degrees, on ungreased baking sheets for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
4Remove from pan immediately and sprinkle with sugar, if desired.
If frosting, let cool first.
Makes 6 to 7 dozen cookies.
