Ingredients

2 c sugar
1/2 c milk
1 stick margarine
3 Tbsp baking coco (you can add more depending on likes)
1 c peanut butter
3 c oatmeal, uncooked (quick oats work the best)

SAUCE PAN. BRING TO A FULL BOIL,
STIRRING THE WHOLE TIME. BOIL FOR 3
MINUTES.

QUICKLY STIR IN PEANUT BUTTER THEN
OATMEAL. QUICKLY SPOON ON TO WAXED
PAPER , PARCHMENT PAPER, OR
BUTTERED COOKIE SHEETS. LET COOL.

My grandmother made these for my mother and my mother made them for my sisters and I. Now I make them for my kids and they love them. I use the same recipe except I also add 1/2 tsp of vanilla when I add the oatmeal and peanut butter.

Sharon, 1 stick of butter is half of a cup of butter.
