I got this recipe from a dear friend over 20 years ago. I loved it then, and my family and friends love it now. I am sure it gets it's name because it is such a lovely bar cookie...it is definitely one of the "High End" bar cookies!
Mix the cake mix, oil and 2 eggs by hand. Press into a 13x9 inch baking pan or cookie sheet with sides.
Mix cream cheese, sugar and remaining eggs with an electric mixer, until smooth. Spread over dough mixture. Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown. I cool these in the pan for about 10 minutes before cutting. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
