Ingredients For *** mom's peanut butter cookies ***

  • 2 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    peanut butter, creamy
  • 1 c
    shortening, butter flavor
  • 1 Tbsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 lg
    eggs

How To Make *** mom's peanut butter cookies ***

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    In medium bowl, combine 1st four ingredients.

    In another large bowl, combine peanut butter, shortening & vanilla mix well. Add sugars, eggs mix well. Slowly add flour mixture & mix well.

    Form 1" balls onto ungreased cookie sheet, press crisscross with fork. Bake 10 - 12 minutes. Cool.
