These are the bars that I like the best they are so moist and so easy to make - this recipe is often doubled during the holiday as they taste so good and go fast off the cookie and bar tray.

Ingredients

3 large
eggs
1 c
all purpose flour
1 dash(es)
salt
1 c
chopped nutmeats
1 c
granulated sugar
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 c
chopped fine dates
powdered sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Butter or spray a 13x9-inch baking pan;set aside. Heat oven to 350^.
Beat eggs until foamy and beat sugar in gradually.
Stir dry ingredients together.
Add dates and nuts to flour mixture. Stir into egg mixture.
Spread in the prepared pan and bake until firm and delicately brown, so not to get dry, about 30 minutes. Cut into finger long shape pieces and roll in powdered sugar when cool but still a little warm.
