Ingredients For mint chocolate chip cookies

  • 1 pouch
    betty crocker sugar cookie mix or chocolate chip cookie mix
  • 1/2 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp
    mint extract
  • 8 drops
    green food coloring
  • 1 x lg
    egg
  • 1 c
    mint chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chunks

How To Make mint chocolate chip cookies

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, extract, food coloring & egg until soft dough forms. Stir in mint baking chips & chocolate chunks.

    Using small ice cream scoop or tsp, drop dough 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until set. Cool 3 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Serve warm or cool completely. Store tightly covered at room temperature.

    IF YOU CAN'T FIND MINT CHOCOLATE CHIPS: Just pour the amount of regular chocolate chips in a resealable plastic baggie. Add 1/2 tsp mint extract, let sit overnight; turning occasionally.
