I love simple, throw together, recipes that I can make on short notice. This one is the king of them all. Easy, delicious and looks sooooooooooo good.

Ingredients For maple walnut bars

1egg, beaten

1/2 csugar
-
1/3 cbutter or margarine, melted

1/2 cself rising flour
-
1 tspmaple flavoring
-
1 cwalnuts, chopped

1/2 craisins
How To Make maple walnut bars

1Combine egg and sugar, beating well. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Spread evenly in a greased 8" square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in pan; cut into bars or squares.

2Carolyn's Notes: I used my electric hand mixer seeing that everything had to be "mixed well". If you do not have Maple Flavoring, use 1 tsp of Maple Syrup and 1 tst of Vanilla.
