joeyjoan's notes for this recipe:
This is a Recipe I have been preparing since I was in my teens. I am so happy that for what ever reason as a young women I decided to write down some of my favorite recipes and keep them in an old recipe box that was my mom's. A very good cookie that you can do many many things with. Hence the name. My Grandaughter a true cookie monster likes to help make the cookies but she loves to eat them even more.

This is my grandmas sugar cookie recipe!!! It's the one I grew up on and we have made every year since I was a toddler...(so 40+ yrs ago)
I have never seen it anywhere else. I love it, because I don't have to refrigerate the dough before rolling! And it's good, especially with buttercream frosting! :)
