These are just scrumptious! This is another recipe I found on the back of a condensed milk label. Yummy!

Ingredients

1/2 c
butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 c
graham cracker crumbs
1 can(s)
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
2 c
semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/3 c
flaked coconut
1 c
chopped nuts (whatever you fancy)

Directions Step-By-Step

Heat oven to 350 degrees F (325 degrees for glass dish). Coat 13x9-inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.

Combine graham cracker crumbs and butter. Press into bottom of prepared pan. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumb mixture. Layer evenly with chocolate chips, coconut and nuts. Press down firmly with a fork.

Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars or diamonds. Store covered at room temperature.

Variations
7-Layer Magic Cookie Bars: Substitute 1 cup (6-ounces) butterscotch flavored chips for 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and proceed as directed above.
Peanut butter flavored chips or white chocolate chips may be substituted for butterscotch flavored chips.
Magic Peanut Cookie Bars: Substitute 2 cups (about 3/4 pound) chocolate-covered peanuts for semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
Magic Rainbow Cookie Bars: Substitute 2 cups plain M & Ms for semi-sweet chocolate chips.

I made these again yesterday 3/16/13. I used the macademia nuts & M&Ms again. But I baked them for the suggested time + 15 more minutes but it just wouldn't melt together. So I topped it off with another can of sweetened condensed milk & baked for 25 minutes. These are even better than my 1st batch! I shold use the past tense because they are already devoured... If you try this, be careful not to burn the bottom crust of margarine & graham cracker crumbs! TY Deanna!!!

I used macademia nuts & colored m&ms. Pulverized them in foor processor. I also added an extra can of sweetened condensed milk to form a top layer. It is incredibly delicious! The macademia nuts increased the cost, but I love them, so its worth it [to me]...

This will be a monthly delight [maybe more] if I can sneak the $ somewhere ...

I see your option of using M&Ms. Should I pulverize them in the food processor for they're more chewable?

A Co-Worker Made these for our work Cookie exchange and they were AMAZING!!!!!! YUMMMYYY!!!
