LEMON BARS (The grab them fast or too bad for you bars)

Carol L.

For the past 20 years, this has been my GO TO recipe when hit by the lemon urge. The recipe comes from my ALL TIME FAVORITE RECIPES ( Better Homes & Gardens)cookbook.
The first time I made them was as a treat for my husband and daughter who were going to be out into the wee hours running their paper route. They smelled sooo good while baking; but I went to bed without eating one. Too bad for me! Pan was empty when I got up! Live and learn.

*** This looks just like my bars, but the photo is from the internet.
