Ingredients For lavender cookies

  • 1 c
    butter softened
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg beaten
  • 1 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped dried lavender
  • confectioners' sugar (to decorate)

How To Make lavender cookies

    Preheat oven to 375F. Grease 3 large baking sheets. Set a side. Place the butter and sugar in a bowl, beat together until light and fluffy, then beat in the egg and the honey. Then little by little add the flour and the baking powder. Finally add the lavander and stir well.

    Place tablespoons of the dough on the baking sheets 1 inch apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Let them cool for 10 minutes. Dust them with the confectioners sugar.
