7 Tbspbutter, softened

1/2 csugar

1egg

1 3/4 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/3 choney

1/4 cplain yogurt

2 tspgrated lemon peel

1/2 tsplemon extract
- FOR THE ICING
-
1 cpowdered sugar

2 Tbsplemon juice
-
2 tspgrated lemon peel
How To Make honey lemon cookies

1In a small bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Combine honey, yogurt, lemon peel, and lemon extract. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with honey mixture, mixing well after each addition.

2Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks.

3In a small bowl, combine the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Brush over the warm cookies; sprinkle with lemon peel.
