Homemade Butterfinger Cookies in a Jar Mix

I found several recipes for this concoction, and I think this is the best. It will require being stored in a cool place, but not the refrigerator. However, it will be a marvelous and pretty special gift for the Holidays. When I made these up, I decided that some extra chocolate chips would help...an idea I saw in one version. It does help, but you don't want to put too many as there is a whole cup of butter in this recipe (so too much fat may ruin the texture). We found these to be delicious! Give 'em a try!
