TERRI's Notes:

I dont remember where I found this idea, probably some Woman's magazine, and I have made them for various kids' parties over the years. Now my daughter makes them for after school program kids. Cute and really fun (but messy) to do with the kids!

Directions

1
Put a few drops of green food coloring in 2 cups of coconut. Stir to dye it green. This is your "lettuce."
2
In each of two custard cups put some frosting. Dye one batch yellow for the "mustard" and the other batch red for the "ketchup."
3
To assemble; smear red frosting on one wafer surface, top with a Keebler grasshopper cookie (the meat)another smear of red frosting, a pinch of coconut and lastly smear some yellow frosting on another wafer and top off the hamburger.
4
If desired you can "paint" the tops of the hamburgers with sugar water and sprinkle with a few sesame seeds.
