Ingredients

  • 16 golden double stuf oreo cookies
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 - 8 oz cans pineapple chunks, drained & juice reserved
  • 1 sm package instant french vanilla pudding mix, dry
  • 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
  • 1 1/2 cups cool whip free
  • 8 maraschino cherries with stem

How To Make golden pineapple parfaits

  • Step 1
    Coarsley chop 8 cookies; set aside. Reserve 8 remaining whole cookies for garnish.
  • Step 2
    Pour milk & reserved pineapple juice into medium bowl; add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. Stir in pineapple chunks.
  • Step 3
    Stir cherry juice into whipped topping with wire whisk just until blended; do not overmix.
  • Step 4
    Spoon 1/2 the chopped cookies into 8 parfait glasses or dessert dishes. Top each with 1 tbsp whipped topping mixture & 2 tbsp pudding. Repeat layers. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Serve topped with remaining whipped topping, whole cookies & maraschino cherries.
