Ingredients

1-1/2 c
sugar
1 c
margarine or butter, softened
1 c
sour cream
2
eggs
4 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
2/3 c
orange juice, fresh
3 Tbsp
grated orange peel

FOSTING

1/4 c
margarine or butter, melted
2 c
powdered sugar
1 Tbsp
grated orange peel
2-3 Tbsp
orange juice, fresh

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 375.
2In large bowl, combine sugar and 1 cup margarine, beat until light and fluffy.
3Add sour cream and eggs, blend well.
4Add all remaining cookie ingredients, mix well.
5Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
6Bake at 376 for 8 to 11 minutes or unti edges are light golden brown, immediately remove from cookie sheets.
7Meanwhile, in small bowl, blend all frosting ingredients until smooth, adding enough orange juice for desired spreading.
8Frost warm cookies.
