I got this recipe this Christmas, 2011 from a gentleman in South Carolina who made some Christmas gifts for me. I guess he knows how to cook also because these cookies are now one of my favorites to make and eat!
Into a large bowl measure first 7 ingredients. With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until blended - occasionally scrapping bowl with rubber spatula. With a spoon, stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop chocolate mixture by heaping tablespoon, 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet. Spread each cookie into a 2 inch round.
Bake cookies 10 - 12 minutes. With a metal turner remove cookies to a wire rack and let cool. Cookies freeze well.
