I found this recipe in an old church cookbook this morning...I had a cookie similar to this when I was a child and loved it. I am so happy to find that after I made this one, it was just like my childhood memory. It is very yummy and I was able to get rid of few holiday leftovers too...like a 1/4 bag of coconut, 1/4 bag of chips, half a cup pecans etc. :)
I searched on here for a similar recipe and couldn't find one...so decided to go ahead and post this one...hope you enjoy it.
