Ingredients For disappearing marshmallow brownies

  • 1/2 c
    butterscotch pieces
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1/3 c
    firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    miniature marshmallows
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/4 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make disappearing marshmallow brownies

    Grease bottom and sides of 9-inch square baking pan.

    Melt butterscotch pieces and butter in a heavy 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; cool to lukewarm.

    Add flour, sugar, vanilla, and egg to butterscotch mixture in saucepan. Mix well.

    Fold marshmallows, chocolate pieces, and pecans into butterscotch batter just until combined, about 5 strokes.

    Spread in prepared pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350. DO NOT OVERBAKE! Center will be jiggly but becomes firm upon cooling.
