Ingredients For dark chocolate chunk cookies

  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
    light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 2
    bars (4 oz. ea.) 60% cacao bittersweet baking chocolate, cut into 1/4- inch chunks

    old fashioned rolled oats

How To Make dark chocolate chunk cookies

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Stir flour with baking soda and salt; set aside. In large mixing bowl, beat butter with sugar and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time. Mix on low speed until incorporated. Gradually blend dry mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chunks and rolled oats.

    Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased or parchment paper lined baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
