Danish Kringle Cookies
This is a very old recipe.
sugar for sprinkling (more or less)
Combine flour, butter and baking powder.
Add the cream and lemon extract and mix well.
Divide dough in half. Roll out each into rectangle to about a 1/4 inch thickness on floured surface.
Cut dough into strips. (try a fluted cutter). Form each strip in a fiqure 8 shape. Sprinkle with sugar.
Lift onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
WATCH carefully, they burn easily.
