I especially love to make these yummy cookies because you can make them any color to match the holiday. I always use a white cake mix and roll them in colored sugar or roll them in nuts. I make lots of them at Easter with pastel colored sugars. Have fun with them.

Ingredients For cream cheese cookies

  • 1 box white cake mix or any flavor
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick soft butter
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • powdered sugar
  • nuts can be added before baking, optional

How To Make cream cheese cookies

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients together except powdered sugar. Chill 2 hours. Roll into balls and then into powdered sugar. Bake at 350 on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes.

    When slightly cooled roll again in powdered sugar.
