Ingredients For cranberry crumb bars

  • 1 1/2 c
    plus 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/3 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 c
    chilled butter, divided
  • 1 pkg
    8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can
    14 ounce sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar, packed and divided
  • 1 can
    16 ounce whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 3/4 c
    chopped walnuts

How To Make cranberry crumb bars

  • 1
    Combine 1 1/2 cups flour and powdered sugar; cut in 3/4 cup butter until crumbly. Press into a greased 13x9 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes; cool. Beat cream cheese, condensed milk, and lemon juice; spread over baked crust. Combine cornstarch and one tablespoon brown sugar; stir in cranberry sauce.

    Spread over cream cheese layer and set aside. Combine remaining brown sugar, flour, butter, and nuts; sprinkle over filling. Bake at 325F for 40-45 minutes, until golden. Cool in pan on a wire rack; chill for 3 hours before slicing.
