Cornflake Cookies

One of my dearest friends, grandma made me these cookies for years and I finally got up the courage to start making them myself. They are so addicting, you can't eat just one!

Ingredients

1 c
sugar
1 c
karo corn syrup (light)
1 c
peanut butter (creamy or crunchy).
1 tsp
vanilla flavoring
6 c
cornflakes

Step-By-Step

1In a saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup and bring to a boil.
2Once it is to a boil, take off of stove and cool for 5 minutes.
3Add peanut butter and vanilla flavoring and mix well.
4Add the cornflakes last. Mixture will be very stiff, but oh so good!
5Butter your hands and roll into balls and drop onto wax paper or, use a scooper and drop onto wax paper.
6Cool completely and Enjoy!
