1Heat oven to 375^. Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan; set aside.
2Beat eggs until foamy and add the brown sugar to a measuring cup then put the granulated sugar in with the brown sugar to make 1 cup all together and slowly add these to the eggs; beating well.
Add the buttermilk,and coconut extract,blend well..
3In a small bowl add the coconut flour,salt, and baking powder. Add to the sugar mixture..blend well. Dough will be very thick,
Remove bowl from mixer and hand stir in the dates and nuts.
4Spread evenly into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes, then turn oven to 350^; bake for about 15 more minutes--these do not raise...test with toothpick for doneness..
5Remove from oven and cut into finger-length pieces . Remove from pan and place on wire rack to cool completely.
6When cooled completely.Place a few in a plastic bag with powdered sugar and coat completely..Shake off any excess sugar. Store in cover container .
