Coconut Chip Cookies

I found the recipe in the "Taste of Home - Quick Cooking" magazine more than 10 years ago. Except for the eggs and vegetable oil, all ingredients are changeable (yellow cake mix with toffee chips is fantastic!). If you have family members who dislike nuts or coconut, these items can be left out.

Ingredients

1 pkg
white cake mix (18-1/4 oz)
2
eggs
1/3 c
vegetable oil
1/2 c
chocolate chips
1/4 c
chopped nuts
1 c
coconut, flaked

Step-By-Step

1In mixing bowl, beat cake mix, eggs, and oil. Batter will be stiff.
2Stir in all other ingredients.
3Roll into 1-inch balls and place on lightly-greased cookie sheet.
4Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until a slight indentation remains when lightly touched.
5Cool for 2 minutes. Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
