Mom used to make these no bake cookies at Christmas time every year. The colorful small marshmellow always brought a colorful place to her cookie trays. Mom made these using either Chocolate chips or Butterscothch chips. They are both sweet and delicious.

Ingredients For church window cookies

  • 12 oz
    chocolate chips or
  • 18 oz
    butterscotch chips
  • 7 oz
    coconut flaked
  • 1 stick
    butter, cold
  • 101/2 oz
    minature colored marshmellows

How To Make church window cookies

    In a double boiler, melt butter first and choc chips or (Butterscotch chips), cool not to long, add nuts and minature marshmellow until partly melted. Put half on coconut on wax paper and roll up. Twist ends of wax paper to close. Repeat with other half. Chill overnight and slice into cookies.
