Chocolate, Potato Chip & Pretzel Cookies

Can you feel your mouth watering? I mean really, look at all those nooks and crannies full of sweet, salty, crunchy, gooey, chocolaty, tantalizing flavors. This cookie contains all of the characteristics you want in a cookie.

2 stick
unsalted butter
1 c
plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 c
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/3 c
unsulphured molasses (not blackstrap)
4 1/4 c
all-purpose flour
1 tsp
kosher salt
1 tsp
baking soda
3/4 c
pretzels, broken
3/4 c
potato chips, broken
1 1/2 c
semi sweet chocolate chips


1Preheat oven to 350° F.

2In bowl of electric mixer fitted with paddle, cream together butter and sugars until well blended and fluffy

3Add eggs and beat until well incorporated, then add molasses.

4In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt, baking soda, until just combined.

5Add the dry ingredients slowly to the wet ingredients and mix until blended.

6Remove from mixer and gently fold in chocolate chips, pretzels and potato chips.

7Transfer dough to clean work surface and divide into 12 equal portions.

8Place each on sheet pan lined with parchment paper and bake in oven 12 minutes, or until very lightly browned.

9Let cool on rack and store in airtight container.

10Beware of lurking Cookie Monsters. I am sure there will be many sightings.
