Ready to over-indulge? Chocolate lovers will swoon over these scrumptious cookies. They have a slightly gooey center and the addition of Nutella takes the chocolate flavor to new heights! If you are not a macadamia nut fan, I suppose you could use pecans or even walnuts...but I don't suggest it. I will be making these for this year's Christmas cookie exchange and for gifts. I expect to be inundated with requests for the recipe. :-)

Ingredients

3/4 c
unsalted butter, room temperature
3/4 c
brown sugar
3/4 c
white sugar
1 c
nutella
2
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 c
+ 2 tbls flour
1/4 c
unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
1 c
chocolate chips
1 c
macadamia nuts, chopped

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Preheat oven 350F. Cream butter for a few minutes until light and fluffy. Add sugars and Nutella and mix well, scraping down sides of bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating for 30 seconds between each. Add vanilla and mix well.
2
Sift together flour, cocoa, salt, and baking soda, to get rid of clumps. Add to butter mixture on low speed a few tablespoons at a time, until fully incorporated, scraping down bottom and sides of bowl. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts; refrigerate dough for ten minutes.
3
Spoon tablespoon-sized drops of dough onto parchment paper lined cookie sheets. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes, until center is set. Allow to cool for five minutes before putting on wire rack to cool.
