Amy's notes for this recipe:
I would have to say that brownies are one of my favorite sweets, and I just love the chewy edge! This recipe is like having a bunch of little brownies all with their own chewy edge. I like mine with just chocolate chunks but you can add nuts too if you like. I also love that this recipe does not have any flour in it so it can be enjoyed by people who can not have gluten right along side those who can.

A picture of this cookie appears next to the definition of the word "decadent" in the dictionary... or it least it should!! Try 'em while their still warm for an extra indulgent treat.

Preheat oven to 325*f
Whisk together sugar, cocoa (spooned and leveled), and salt. Stir in chocolate chunks and nut if using.
Add egg whites and stir just untill mix, do not over mix.
Drop dough onto two parchment-lined baking sheets about 2-3 inches apart, about 1/4 cup at a time, should make about 10 cookies.
Bake untill cookie are cracked and a little dry on top, about 25minutes. remove frome oven and place on wire rack till cookies are completerly cooled.
