Chocolate Chip Ice cream Cookie Treats

1	bag of chocolate chip cookie mix..(mixed as directed on the bag)
1	container of vanilla ice cream (softened enough to put between two cookies)
	mini chocolate chips or chocolate sprinkles

These are basically any flavor cookie with an ice cream filling..too look like an ice cream sandwich, only with cookies. These always go over well, and are a real treat for any occasion.

Directions

Bake cookies as directed on package. OR make your favorite homemade cookie.

While cookies are cooling..take ice cream out of freezer to sit for a little bit to soften some, careful NOT TO SOFT. Once cookies are cooled, and by the way make the cookies a decent size. Take one cookie and on the bottom of that cookie spread a large scoop of ice cream on it, then place another cookie top side up on to the ice cream. Push together so that ice cream comes to the edges of the cookie..now roll the ice cream part into mini chocolate chips or choc. sprinkles.

Wrap each ice cream cookie into plastic wrap and freeze right away. Remove from freezer 15 to 20 minutes before serving.

NOTE: You can use Sugar cookies and add any flavor of ice cream you would like with them, or chocolate cookies with Moose tracks Ice cream..., the sky is the limit with these little treats. Have fun making any of your favorite cookies with your favorite ice cream. ENJOY!

My husband loves the ones from the Schwan ice cream truck, but they are very expensive, I think I will give this a try, thanks for sharing.

These are so easy..and you can make a ton of them..any flavor combo you want. I love the chocolate cookies with peppermint Ice cream.

Jo..LOL!! We should take before and after pictures of all of us..once we have joined this site and have fixed all of these fabulous desserts and goodies we have saved, we will be adding a few pounds I'm afraid!!! Go Away LARD man...lol
