there is nothing that my grand son loves more than chocolate chip cookies. When my son was little this was his favoret cookie too..

Ingredients For chocolate chip cookies

  • 2/3 c
    shortening
  • 2/3 c
    margarine softened
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts ( you'r choice)
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    butterscotch chips
  • 1 c
    coconut
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda.

How To Make chocolate chip cookies

  • 1
    heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2
    mix thoroughly shortening, margarine, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

    stir in remaning ingredients. ( for softer and rounder cookies, add 1/2 cup flour)

    drop dough by rounded teaspoons 2" apart onto ungreased baking sheet.

    bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown. cool slightly before removing from pan.
