1Preheat oven to 350º. Grease 9 x 13 pan. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in 3 eggs then stir in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; blend into the sugar mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and set aside.
2In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese and sugar. Mix in 2 eggs. Spread 1/2 of the chocolate chip dough in the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake 15 minutes.
3Pour cream cheese batter on top of the dough. Bake 10 minutes.
4Drop pieces of the remaining chocolate chip dough over the filling. Don't worry if there are gaps. The batter will spread while baking. Bake 15 minutes.
