2 Tbsp

2 tsp

2 1/2 c
quick or old fashioned oats

1 1/2 c
dried cranberries
1 c
coarsely chopped walnut (optional)

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven 375 degrees.

Combine flour, baking soda, spices and salt in a small bowl.
2Beat brown sugar, butter (or crisco and butter) and granulated sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy.
3Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats, morsels, cranberries and nuts.
4Drop by rounded tablespoons onto greased or parchment paper cookie sheets.
Bake for 9-10 minutes for chewy cookies or 12-13 for crispy cookies. Let stand for one minute; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
We cooked them 10 min. and make sure you use parchment paper or grease well, they will stick otherwise.
