I was bored today and started playing around in the kitchen. This is what I came up with. I feel that some of the best recipes happen when you're hungry. A well-stocked kitchen is a great place to play on a cool fall day.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Caramel apples and fall go together like peas and carrots. The hint of spices makes these caramel apple cookies perfect for fall. They are soft, sticky, and gooey. There's a slight crunch from the walnuts and a subtle burst of sweetness from the bits of chopped apples.
