This is a quick and easy recipe! I love these cookies and one little variance I have done is to lightly sprinkle sugar on top of the cookies before baking! Very yummy!

Ingredients For butter pecan cookies

  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 c
    sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make butter pecan cookies

  • 1
    In a large bowl add sugar and vanilla to the oil and beat well. Add flour, salt and continue to beat the mixture. Add pecans and mix well with a large spoon. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten cookies with a fork and bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until cookies are light brown.
