These are almost better after they have been sitting for a while. They have a crisp outside with a soft middle. The blended oats add a fabulous chewy texture. I got this recipe from the-girl-who-ate-everything.com/...l I hope you enjoy these cookies too!

Prep:

Cook:

10 Min

Ingredients

1 c
butter, softened
1 c
granulated sugar
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
2 large
eggs
1 tsp
real vanilla, not imitation
2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
2 1/2 c
oats, regular
1 1/2 c
semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 oz
milk chocolate candy bars, coarsely chopped
1 c
pecans, chopped

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Preheat oven to 375°. This is a thick dough. If you have a KitchenAid, use it.
2
Measure oatmeal, and blend in a blender or food processor to a fine powder. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Stir in chocolate chips, milk chocolate bar, and pecans.
3
Roll into balls, and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet. *I always use parchment paper. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly on baking sheets. Then, remove to wire racks to cool completely.
