1 egg, beaten
1 stk buttr
1/2 c sugar (i used brown sugar)
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp almond extract
1/2 c sesame seeds

Stormy's Notes:

these remind me of chinese cookies you might get at a chinese joint. very good and raises up nicely.

Since all my cookies look about the same it seams pointless to post a picture

Lightly sweet, these yummy cookies are the perfect accompaniment to afternoon tea!

 

Directions

preheat oven to 350 degrees.

in a large bowl beat together egg, butter and sugar. then add baking powder, salt and almond extract and mix well.

add the rest and mix very well. I then pinch off pieces about a table sppon plus size and bake for 10 minutes

Note If you do not have a bakers secret cookie sheet it is well worth the price, no more burnt bottoms ever

is this site a part of or owned by butter. This was my recipe I didn't borrow it from any where and I didn't put the butter blurb under the amount of butter but there it is just the same

We love them so much in cookies that we now put them in about every cookie I make. That slight crunch and delicatetaste is unexpected.

also I dont have a bakers secret cookie sheet, I use parchment paper for cakes, cookies,etc. its great!
