ALMOND BUTTER COOKIES

- butter, room temperature
- 1/2 c
- 1 c
- almonds, unblanched, finely chopped
- 2 tsp
- almond extract or vanilla
- 2 c
- all purpose flour
1Heat oven to 350. Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until light brown.
2Cream butter and sugar. Stir in almonds and extract. Blend in flour; work with hands until dough is smooth.
3Shape dough by scant teaspoon into small balls.
4Place on ungreased baking sheet; flatten with (sugared bottom glass). Bake as above.
