5 Minute No-Bake Cookies

By Karla Everett Karla59

These are a delicious chocolate oatmeal no-bake cookie that are so easy to make on the stove , our family have been making these for years and they are a family favorite. I make these about once a week because they get eaten up fast around here.

You can omit the peanut butter and add coconut and/or nuts to these cookies also and they are just as delicious but we prefer them they this way most of the time.

Directions Step-By-Step

In a saucepan on the stove, add the sugar, cocoa, butter and milk; mix until combined.
Bring to a boil on high heat; constantly stirring. Cook for 2 minutes once it starts to boil. Note: You want a good hard boil.
Remove from heat; add the vanilla and peanut butter.
Stir until all the peanut butter has dissolved.
Add the oatmeal.
Mix oatmeal in the chocolate sauce until all combined together.
Using a cookie scoop or a heaping tablespoon, drop onto parchment or tinfoil and smash down to form the shape of a cookie.
Let cool until they are set - takes about 20 minutes or so.
