Yep takes 3 ingredients and so easy, this is the recipe that got my youngest hooked on making cookies. She now even bakes more "difficult" ones.

Directions

Simple as 1,2,3. Mix above ingredients shape into balls, roll in sugar if desired, flatten with fork cris crossing marks, place on cookie sheet bake 8-11 min in pre-heated 350 degree oven. ALSO *yummy tip right when you take out press hershey kiss on top ;)

That was the same with my son. He came home from school with the recipe and had to make that afternoon. He has developed into a very good cook. He also has help from his boys. So glad you posted as it is good and gives young children and all bakers confidence.
