Ingredients For triple layer peanut butter brownies

  • 1 pkg
    brownie mix
  • reese's peanut butter cups, mini
  • 1 c
    cold milk
  • 1 - 3 oz. pkg
    vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 c
    creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 c
    confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    cool whip, frozen - do not thaw
  • 3 squares
    semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 1/2 c
    peanuts, dry roasted, coarsely chopped

How To Make triple layer peanut butter brownies

    Mix brownie mix according to directions on package for a 13 x 9" pan. Before baking, place peanut butter cups into batter. Bake & cool.

    Meanwhile, beat milk & pudding with whisk 2 minutes. Add peanut butter & sugar; mix well. Refrigerate until brownies are completely cooled.

    Spread pudding mixture over brownies.

    Microwave cool whip & chocolate in microwavable bowl on HIGH 1 minute, stirring every 30 seconds, Spread over pudding; top with nuts. Refrigerate 1 hour.

    SUBSTITUTE: Prepare using white chocolate instant pudding instead of vanilla.
