WOW! If you love butterscotch, brownies, and cheesecake this brownie recipe is for you. All three flavors are tasted in every bite. Butterscotch ganache really makes this rich and decadent setting it apart from your average cheesecake brownie. The brownie itself is fudgy and melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

BROWNIE MIX:

1 stick
unsalted butter, softened
3/4 c
unsweetened baking cocoa powder
1 c
sugar
1/4 c
chocolate syrup
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2
eggs
2/3 c
flour
1/4 tsp
salt

BUTTERSCOTCH GANACHE:

1/2
bag of butterscotch chips (roughly 1 cup)
1 c
heavy whipping cream

CHEESECAKE:

8 oz
cream cheese, softened
1/3 c
sugar
1
egg
1 tsp
vanilla extract

Step-By-Step

1First, make your butterscotch ganache. On low heat, melt together the butterscotch chips and cream, stirring occasionally. When all melted, set aside to cool.
2Now make the cheesecake part. Blend together all the cheesecake ingredients until smooth and incorporated and fluffy. Set aside.
3Preheat oven 350. Good tip: Butter bottom of a ceramic 9 x 13 baking dish. Lay down a sheet of parchment or baking paper. Butter that. Set aside.
4Melt together the cocoa and butter. Stir to mix together. Set aside.
5In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, salt, eggs and vanilla extract.
6Stir in the chocolate syrup.
7Then add the cocoa and stir until smooth. Fold in the flour.
8If it is too stiff, stir in a little of the butterscotch ganache.
9Spread brownie part on the bottom of the pan.
10Then pour in the butterscotch ganache (you might not want to use it ALL). Just pour in enough to cover the top.
11Use a knife or large spoon to swirl it all together.
12Top off with the cheesecake mix.
13Use knife or spoon to swirl it together with the rest of the brownie mix.
14Bake for about 35 minutes, or until center comes out clean.
15Let cool in pan for about 15 minutes before cutting and EATING! Enjoy :)
