A fave among kids and adults. What is it about ceral that entices us so? Almost forgot I had this from many years ago. I am sharing in hopes that you will enjoy with your family, kids and neighborhood kids too!

Ingredients For drema's "pudding squares"

  • 1 pkg
    chocolate pudding/pie filling, small
  • 1/2 c
    corn syrup, light
  • 1/3 c
    peanut butter
  • 4 c
    cherrios cereal

How To Make drema's "pudding squares"

    Butter an oblong glass serving or baking dish. In medium sauce pan heat corn syrup and dry pudding mix. Stirring constantly bring to a full boil. Boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat and blend in peanut butter. Stir in cereal till well coated.

    Spread mixture into pan. Spread and smooth out with buttered hand or back of spoon. Cool until firm - about 30 minutes. Cut into 1 1/2" squares.

    Optional idea - Use of butterscotch pudding or vanilla. Can decrease cherrios and add in small pretzels or nuts! Yummy! Never tried using instant pudding so this recipe is for the full cook variety of pudding. Enjoy!
