My mother taught me this recipe many many years ago and it's the best chocolate frosting I've ever tasted. The half and half makes it extra rich!

Ingredients

2/3 c
cocoa, unsweetened
1 stick
butter, melted
3 c
powdered sugar
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/3 c
half and half

Step-By-Step

1In a medium bowl, stir cocoa into melted butter and blend thoroughly.

2Add powdered sugar and half and half, alternately, into cocoa mixture, beating until spreading consistency. Add the vanilla.

3Add more half and half if needed to reach proper consistency. Frost completely cooled cake or cupcakes. Makes about 2 cups frosting.
