Staci's Notes:

This is like having a ooey, gooey, chocolate brownie that didn't quite finish cooking in the center.. Yumminess!

Directions

1
Set oven to 350. Stir together ¾ c. sugar, flour, 3 T. cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla, mixing until smooth. Pour batter into an 8" square glass pan. Mix ½ c. sugar, brown sugar, and 4 T. cocoa. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top. Do not stir. Bake 35 to 40 min or until center is almost set. Let stand 15 min. then serve. Can use chocolate syrup from bottom of dessert to spoon over servings. Serve with ice cream.

I made this yesterday and it was sooo good! The ingredients are basic and usually ones you have on hand. Get the ice cream or whipped cream ready and serve warm!

Thanks Deborah.. when it's warm it just melts in your mouth doesn't it? When it's cold it's chewy (and yet delicious in its own way)... Family approved?

This was our favorite desserts as kids. I was so happy to find it and make it for my kids. They loved it as much as I do.
