My grandchildren absolutely loves these sandwiches. Doesn't mean adults can't appreciate the great flavors, right?

Ingredients For banana-split sandwiches

4 slicemulti-grain bread
-
2 Tbsppeanut butter, i use reduced-fat

2bananas, sliced
-
4 lgstrawberries, sliced

2 Tbspchocolate chips

2 tspbutter
How To Make banana-split sandwiches

1Spread peanut butter on 2 slices of bread. Place banana and strawberry slices evenly on other slices of bread, ( the bread slices w/ out peanut butter.)

2Sprinkle chocolate chipe over fruit. Close the sandwich by placing the peanut butter bread over the fruit bread. Press down firmly.

3In medium skillet, over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sandwiches to skillet. Cook 1 min on each side or until sandwich is golden brown. Cut each sandwich into triangles and watch for smiles.
